toyo R1R track pressures

This will be my first season back at trackdays (in a car) since i let the bike go and I'm curious about a good starting point for cold tire pressure to start off with an S14 on the R1R tires...hopefully some of you guys with experience with them can chime in and even anything else to do/expect like spraying the tires or driving style expectations from them and even hot psi/temps to look for.

My car weighs about 2,700 lbs, springs are 12/8 kg, 245/45/17 & 275/40/17 with about 420whp and the S15 HLSD. I was assuming starting over 30psi cold, but reading the little bit of info i've found, people are running mid-uppper 20s cold, but that's on the real light cars like the miatas/civics. I obviously have no problem with starting low and working my way up, but that just seems quite low since these supposedly have a sidewall on the softer side compared to other R compounds and i'd rather not spend an entire day finding a decent tire pressure range to work within.

I drive the car 3-5k miles on the street per summer, but I'm looking at 2 trackdays, maybe a couple time attack events (no drifting) per month this year (digital knock on wood) and i love the grip from these tires so far, good wet performance and maybe they'll last a fairly decent amount which is all why i chose them. I still have a lot to learn about the car on the track as this will be my first year on track with it. i guess im specifically interested in advice on these tires, but equally open to general advice too.
