I got a list of guys around 30 plus cars that are gonna try and bring back ZOMGBBQ on July 26. 2014 at it's birth place Griffith park near dodger stadium. Spread the word all drift chassis welcome. Any one causing problems or making a Scene peeling out burn outs and or loud music will be asked to leave. Drama free area please no one cares about who piped down your sister etc etc. bring your own food and drinks. More details to come when they get ironed out.

ZOMGBBQ was meant to be a giant potluck type of meet. Not a just come and show up type of deal. That's how the third one and fourth one were huge fails.

So many people just showed without even contributing. Hell, the first one I think Joel even brought his Dad's grill to make certain that all the food brought could be cooked up quick and awesome.

This shouldn't just be a regular car meet where people stick to who they came with.

it wasn't Teddy's fault the last one went to shit, everyone showed up and parked but more then half didn't contribute anything they just parked, listened to music and smoked. it was more or a meet and beat up car show than a bbq.

No one is blaming Teddy. The problem was that ZOMGBBQ got pretty well known and you'd have random people promoting it. This brought all kinds of random and retards to the park. Most of which didn't contribute or acted like fools.

I didn't go to the fourth one, but showed up for like 30 min. at the third before I said "fuck this" and left. There were several groups spread out rather than trying to co-mingle. A lot worse in the parking lot as I remember seeing and hearing so many dudes revving their exhaust and tire spin on the way out.

I loved the first two. Wish I had spent more time at them. Completely missed out on the end of the Summer meets Teddy organized.

I'm actually trying to contact The Great Park in Irvine since ZOMGBBQ has been dead..This place is huge, but of course, it will probably require fee's, for clean up and shit. I'll keep you guys updated. Maybe we can do it on a day where they have to food truck on sunday morning!

well a lot of us s-chassis are kick back ppl and have being in the scene for a looong time so if we show a good example then hopefully others will follow. that being said my fiance and I will stick with you guys.
we've been to other nissan* meets and people just stare and dont talk, and huddle on their little groups its so annoying and when asked about "their" car they have no clue.
...fan boys..
if organized well this could be awesome. 1;20 min drive hey ill do it.

I'm not using ZOMGBBQ as the name. Cuz it was actsully brought up on.facebook SoCal Nissan group. So I went ahead and titled it SoCal stay sideways drift chassis BBQ. Mainly too try and keep Hondas from coming. A lot of my friends have moved on from the s chassis and gone FC FD z chassis I'm a car enthusiast so I don't hate unless your reving and peeling out. Then I hate haha. The scene has gone through dramatic changes. Since I've been in it. And yes the car become trendy at one point. But the FRS saved us from those s chassis fan boys and luckily they've gone the FRS route. But s chassis have taken a hit and they're isn't too many out there.
