well fast being i can spin the wheels off the line without dropping the clucth..... im pretty sure i could accomplish that with any of those cars u listed...... but those all seem to be less on reliability which is why i want to know more about cars that are capable of this.

I can't imagine buying those cars above..... so it's obvious what you need to do, take the 8 grand buy a crap car to drive for a few weeks while the S13 you just bought is in the shop getting a SR put in it

Well since you can't live with only 2 seats (i think you should try it has it's quirk's ) The only car thats coming to mind is a 2+2 300ZX thats pushing your $8,000 limit but do able.

honestly though, there isn't much better for that price range, the 240SX is perfect. if u didn't have a 240SX n brought that question up, i would tell u to look for a 240SX. or maybe sell ur s14, get a cheaper s13 n drop the sr in there.

You sound like my sister looking for a car. If you want something fast out of the box for 8K and it is 95+ then you will be looking for a long time. Not to mension that you won't get a high mileage car (which is smart).
They have a saying in sales: Price, Time, and Quality. Pick 2. Your either going to have to lower your standards, pay more, or wait a #### of a long time to find something. |

I saw one yesterday, I bet the owner was looking to sell. The must have rear ending someone really nicely, because the whole front bumper was ripped of his car. I bet he caught the boost in the rain we have been having.

you want to find a car that is '95+, low mileage, dependable, more than two seats, and fast out of the box for $8k? would you like fries w/ that? The only place you'll ever find a car like that is in your dreams. haha tell us if you ever find one though.

Yeah, forget that idea of an SR swap, install an Nsport turbo kit.
If you don't like you current car's condition, invest some time, find a granny driven 240 and do her up to the tits. The car, not the granny. |

If you really want to get a good deal, check the junkyards. Even if they don't have a fast car (Supra or whatever) with minimal damage you can fix, they're bound to have a kick ass engine is something you can pick up cheap. Then just throw it in and make it work.
