Before I bought my SR, I was gonna do ITB's on the KA, but I was going to put a surge tank type deal on there and run a CAI through where the battery is suppost to be. That would be one of the only rerasons I could think of to run a plenum on an ITB setup. The SR will have this ITB with surge tank setup before I get it installed and running.

I still dont like seeing people judge this when only a morsal of what needs to be done is done. This needs cams/headwork and higher compression, then we'll see how this bad boy does.

Oh I know with what I've done so far it won't be hard to make 200rwhp. I just don't have the $$. The P&P'd head is done, but now I need to find a way to afford an accomodating valvetrain. Then pistons too. yeah. So anyone want to start a donation fund? haha

FUCK, I'd buy it for $600 dollars...
If Scott could find someone making this, I'd jump in a get one... though it looks like I will be moving back to China sooner or later...

Damn Scott, I didn't know that YOU were the guy who ITB'd his KA24DE! haha
Anyway, my bit of advice (if you haven't done so already) based on my experience with ITBs is to play with the velocity stack lengths some more. On my 20V AE86, I started out with very short stacks (20mm length IIRC) and wasn't at all impressed with the power of the engine. In fact, I was a little bit disappointed having heard so many great things about ITBs. However, I soon changed to 75mm stacks and noticed a HUGE difference in torque and HP. Seriously, it was night and day! Just a thought as it may be a cheap mod that will give you newfound hope. lol |

Thanks for the advice bro! I've got some 1 1/4" stacks on now, but I have a set of 2 1/2" ones lying in my garage. I'll be sure to bring them to the next event and throw them on, to see what they do. thanks for the advice! If you want to waste some tires, you should come down to the next Drift Circuit event on Oct 23rd.
Cheers.

1) Make your own thread asking about carbs.
2) PM this man, and ask him some questions. 3) Buy his ITB setup here. http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=171628 Pick one. =P |

WTF why would you ever use carbs?
What a lame idea. fuel injection was invented for a reason..... Because its not craptastic like carbs. Yeah if you guys are so keen on these ITB's here's your chance to buy them. Thanks for posting the link ShiftGrind.
