Removing smaller springs on the coilover?

I would like to set my car down lower to attain a perfect tuck but my coilovers are maxed out and I still have a slight gap. Ive noticed that on the coilover(Tien HEs) that they have 2 springs. What would be the result of removing the smaller spring and then adjusting the coilover back up and then going down from there? I am completely ignorant to why that spring is even there. Please enlighten me, lol

you should not need to remove your helper spring to get them low enough for a tuck. I would not take your helper springs off.

weird

its been a while since ive seen a set but i'm pretty sure tein he's didn't come with helper springs. were they added on? and they were double adjustable, which kind of negates the need for helper springs in the first place

Do you have a picture of your fender gap? Usually coilovers for the S13 makes the car sit really low.

Front is WAY not low enough. rear is close to the tire but I would be happy with another inch considering the tire stretch/camber
