s14 S14 zenki to kouki wiring

Hi there I have a question that may get me flamed but w/e. I have searched and since I couldn't get the answers I wanted I'm asking for help now. I have a zenki that I got kouki headlights for after I hit a deer. I have HIDs wired up already and as some of you already know where this is going my low beams shut off when I turn on my high beams as proof I've done my research I found this

So get a 30amp 5 pin relay. (repeat for each side)

Pin 30 goes to the low beam projector
Pin 85 goes to the high beam power
Pin 87a goes to the high beam power
Pin 87 goes to the low beam power
Pin 86 to ground

Other thing to consider is that the load on the high beam wiring may be too much to run both sets of lights. in that case connect
pin 87a to the battery (important use a fuse).

My problem is I've never used relays and I don't know if I'm supposed to cut anything
If someone could please guide me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated and pictures would be most helpful if you've already done it that way it would give me visual aid and make my life easier

This is interesting. I am actually in a similar situation but cannot find answers. I have a Zenki, and a zenki harness that is snipped at the front accessory area. I have the front cut of a kouki harness and need to merge them together..Headlights, turn signals, horns, ect..

Are you using a kouki harness up front also? As for your relay addition, I did read in multiple areas that a relay has to be added for them to function correctly, but no one explained the pin out. Where are your pin outs coming from? The junction under the dash of the zenki?

Since my headlights are Jdm I cut the harness and completely got rid of the low beam side since I have HIDs the high beam I have running directly to the zenki harness
This is a pretty bad picture but it is what I have right now

I'm not sure where the pin out outs are coming from I think they are supposed to be put in the headlight area but again no one who knows the answers has been replying

Here maybe this can help you a bit though..This will also help me somewhat. You'll need two 5 pin 30 amp relays. One for each side. The pin numbers should be listed on the top of the relay. See the photo below, but don't follow the wiring on that photo since you're doing headlights.

http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=442921

Pin 30 goes to the low beam projector
Pin 85 goes to the high beam power
Pin 87a goes to the low beam power
Pin 87 goes to the high beam power
Pin 86 to ground

So I just wired my kouki lights to my zenki an the low beams do shut off when I turn on the highs. Did you make any progress on wiring up your headlights this weekend?

Before you start hacking away at your wires I was talking to a buddy of mine who is a mechanic who thinks that what actually needs to be done is replace the actual relays in the car and pin them out as mentioned above. Perhaps I've been going about this wrong the whole time il have to bust out the fsm to locate everything

Yeah my wiring actually was already all cut in half. I just merged a USDM fuse box harness with a JDM Kouki Light/horn harness. All my stuff seems to function as the FSM states. I am not running HIDs though. If I planned to I would just run HID's on the lows and buy nicer high beam bulbs instead since HID's do not reach their maximum brightness immediately. Per the FSM the lows are suppose to cancel when the highs are turned on.
