Tomei solid lifters, machine them down?

So long story short, I had my head reworked when i rebuilt my motor, switched to a solid head setup, and had to go with the smallest shims/guides (2.60mm) to use on the exhaust side. Well, I had to get the head reworked and rebuilt again, so they had to do another slight valve job. Instead of having to disassemble the freshly built head, would it be possible to machine down slightly the bottom of the solid lifters (so they sit slightly lower in the head) to make up for the slightly higher valves? This would be to ensure correct clearances between the rocker and cam.

I hope that made sense lol, thanks!
