just get it aligned... it'll be good as new
Seriously though, I hate to see this stuff... only so many of these cars around and it seems like it's always the clean ones that get destroyed I'm so paranoid about the insurance on my car, at least my company lets me specify the value of my modifications so if it gets totaled they give me what it's ACTUALLY worth as opposed to some stupid book value thats way below what it would cost to buy another one. I wish you the best of luck... if they try to low-ball you on the reimbursement challenge them to find another one, same year, color, and condition, for sale in your area at that price... and don't let up until they give you what it's worth. |

Yeah you should be able to come out allright...you aren't dealing with your insurance company, but his. You can push alot harder when the accident is someone elses fault. Make sure you get what you deserve out of his company or threaten to get a lawyer. Follow through if the threat doesn't pan out.

insuranceses are wack they are a hassle. Do exactly as people have been saying. Have the insurance company pay you off what ever your car is worth and buy it back.... part it out and get yourself another one. Time for a new begining, it sucks but hey you get to build a better one. Cars come and go aslong as you ok bro.

what i would do is make a list of all the parts u have installed aftermarket and oem and get the prices for all the parts and then get a couple of prices of cars like yours off the internet or whatever and get all this on paper add up the total and then once the insurance guy comes to check it out if he hasnt already give him the information.
This should help you either get a bigger check or maybe get ur car fixed... sucks to hear about that and good luck!

My insurance company told me I COULDN'T buy my car back. I kept harassing them. Phoned the towing company and found out what action it was going to. I bought back my S14 SE for $300. All I had to do is match the highest bid of the auction and it was mine again. I sold the coilovers the next day for like $1k. LOL. Well worth it.
Oh, and if the insurance company lowballs you, be persistent. Show them what other S14's sell for. Make sure you get enough cash. I showed my insurance company a bunch of S14's for sale and they eventually gave me more than their initial quote. |

jebus f'ing chrissy
Any more down the chassis and you might of been a goner. Sorry for your car man, but you'll rebuild. I know that I'd be probably in tears and practically homocidal. Shame to see another 240 go like that, unless if somebody has the equipment/money to make it prime again. At least you are all right though, no major injuries? Just shaken up? But if you part out still. Can I get dibs on the trunk and bumper front signals?

Ok so I more than glanced at the pics this time and that chassis can't be salvaged.
Sucks. Milk the injury! Make that money. So I guess this means you won't be cruisin de luz any time soon? haha On another note, I'm barely ever in Vista and I've seen two gnar gnar binks accidents on E Vista Way.
