S13 Harness Rub (Not Wires)
So, my tire has been rubbing against the rubber boot in which holds the harness in place, the boot that is attached on the wheel well towards the firewall, and here is a corresponding picture where its circled in yellow. This all happened after i slammed the car with all collars removed.
I'm not asking how to tuck the harness as that isn't my problem yet because it's not rubbing the harness, it's rubbing the rubbery boot. My question is, how do I get around it without having to relocate harness? My friend told me that my caster can be a problem, or that the tension rod may be bent. My set up in the front is 16x8 +0 205 50 16. Megan track coils maxed out with all collars removed. No preload, and the rest of the front suspension is stock. Thanks.

cut the rubber grommet, go to home depot/variant and buy ABS plastic. Cut it out to fit, screw it over the little area, with a cut out on top for the harness to go through. Done. Drill a little hole in where that bracket is, between the inner fender and the firewall/door mounting. Zip tie the slacked-up harness there, done and done.

Sounds like a plan, although I can't exactly picture everything you have described. I suppose I need to hammer in my wheel well as well since its rubbing at the metal also.
Thanks for the help. edit: I also forgot to mention that it rubs when i make 1/2+ LEFT turns lol. and plus, you're only lowered 2 inches. I did not have a problem either when I was on springs and 17's..

Oh well you left out all the good details... Sounds like you need more negative camber in the front, maybe even an alignment. If all else fails, rubber boot must be eliminated.

I just rubbed mine OFF the other day and am starting to go through my wires again. Definitely need to do what chiboy said, that's some sound advice. For now looks like I'm just gonna keep loading up my wires with electrical tape to protect them until I can make it to Home Depot.
