hello peeps .. now I did my reaserach and found out tons of info so dont tell me to search . I knoe that spl, kazaama ,or jic are hands down good shit.. but my question is since most aftermarket inners and outers are all basically s14 wouldnt that cause toe in /out problems since they are a bit longer to the point where u cant even adjust anymore? i ask because i was thinking of purchasing this kit FRSPORT 1123 Circuit Sports HTR-0134-HC Inner & Outer Tie Rod Combo S13/S14
now i knoe what ur saying that they suck true but even so would even this still cause length problems??? ive read you can cut down other inners to about 3/4" but i dont wanna cut .. i was also thinking of using cs inners with cs outers OEM style for reliability i just dont want length problems can anynone shed some light i really want to make a purchase .. keep in mind i dont have any fancy modded suspension im not trying to drift just tryna have nice things with an upgraded touch for peace of mind thank you

I just put some teins on and they fit fairly well. Just make sure the rack is perfectly center and you shouldn't have a problem. Unless those are longer for some reason.

It's your steering. Second most important behidn stopping

Get OEM or Parts store innres and outers if you don't want to worry about roll center.

if the tien inners fit flush then im pretty sure the cs inners would too since they are around s14 sizing thanks

yea thats why i wanted to go for oe style but the aftermarket ones do look cool and the price wasnt bad i just wanted to see if anyone had any smiliar issues but i appreiciate ur words of wisdom

Consider aftermarket parts like facny peanut butter cups. Sure they may look good, sure they may taste ok, but they are NOT REECES's cups...ya know?

I run CS inners/outers on my S13. They are definitely beefier than OEM; and seem to be very well-made. Like the other aftermarket pillowball kits, they have the spacers to compensate for lower ride height.

As far as aligning the car goes, there are no issues whatsoever... and I like the improved feel of not having any rubber between my steering wheel and the road (minus urethane steering bushings).

Like you, my car is only driven on the roads; with occasional spirited driving and trips to the strip. Best I can tell, the CS tie rod set is great bang for the buck!

For a dedicated drift/circuit car; or one that will be driven aggressively more often than not- Then I'd recommend a more 'proven' unit such as PBM, Tein, Cusco etc.

Keep an eye on that outer Mike. I'm running Megan's but they're exactly the same thing and the bearing on my passenger side is loose so I got some play and they're barely a year and half old.

i think the way you have it set is wrong because the jam nut on the outer rod needs to sit flush all the way or it will break .thats where my question comes in if theese exact ones will make ur toe way off on an s13 becaus ive seen where they mount they look crooked and its suppose to be straight

Either you're looking at it wrong, or the majority of us are missing something.

Jam nuts on the arm adjuster are right, and the tie rod end 'bolt' is installed correctly as wll.

I personally am not a fan of the cheaper Tie rod end rod ends, but they seem to work...

There is S-chassis and an open tech forum more suited for this thread- That's what he meant.

Pretty sure I have them installed correctly; and the car is aligned exactly as needed with no toe issues

Yup, mines doo-doo and lose. I gotta replace my rack when I get back from deployment and invest on some quality tie rod ends. I'm thinking SPL ends...
