VA: Hit and run on Edinburgh Drive - Virginia beach, Va
If you have any info, please PM me.
I PIECED TOGETHER A YELLOW SIDE-MARKER LENS WHICH WAS LEFT BY THE HIT AND RUN VEHICLE. IT ACTUALLY MATCHES UP TO THE TURN SIGNAL MARKER ON MY S13. SO IS IT SAFE TO ASSUME IT WAS LEFT BY A 240SX? THE LENS HAS "NISSAN DOT SAE AP286 JAPAN L) ON IT. Early this morning (11/11/2011) around 3am-4am someone decided to "skid" themselves into the side of my Ford Ranger, parked in the (dirt/grass) driveway. This was a hit and run incident. They left about ~30ft of tire/skid marks leading straight to my truck. Notice the tapering tire marks as they get closer to the truck and then the new tire marks on my neighbors driveway. Hit and run vehicle should have a messed up front left fender and/or door. I wasn't home at the time, but my neighbor said it was around 3am-4am when he heard the crash. No one got a make, model or license plate number. Just that it was a "blue sports car with 2 white males with short hair". Blue paint: Largest paint chip found on ground: Judging from the tire/skid marks: the vehicle took off, started to go sideways and plowed into the rear quarter of my truck. It looks like they hit the truck with their front left fender. They also took off in the direction they came from, which leads me to believe they were turned around sideways. No coolant on the ground also confirms a sideway impact. The pieced together sidemarker leads me to believe the vehicle was a Nissan 240sx. I know a few of you guys on this forum live/lived in the area, so please share any leads. |
