Question Mudflaps?

How many of you guys don't have mudflaps on your car? I'm wondering because I lost one off-roading and the other three's screws are rusted and I want to do away with them. How does the car look without them? Its getting painted within the next month with a quality job, and i'm also wondering if they really are needed to protect the paint or if there other products to protect the car's fender and sill paint?

most 240sx DONT have the flaps. eitherway, its personal opinion. if you want another set, post in the WTB forum

I want my mudflaps back
They were removed when my car was in the shop and not returned
I think they look decent on a black car (were they available in colors besides black?) Where I live, if you don't have mudflaps of some kind, your kickpanel paint is dead (read as: scratches, gouges and the eneivitable rust!)

Anyone have any idea if flaps can be run with a rear valence? (Valance? sp? wtf? syfu! ) I think a hatch would look pretty cool with both. That's MY plan. (not your plan, MY plan! So don't even think of stealing it! heh heh)

My 240 has no mudflaps, my sister's does. I think they look pretty nice, they seem to even out the car with the ground better (not to mention the protection they give the paint). Hers is white.
