SR20 random hose where does it go? do i need this?

hey guys im currently doing my third sr swap and ive run into a problem. on my other motors i must have never noticed this hose but theres a brass/metal elbow or whatever you wanna call it comming off of the back of the lower intake manifold and this rubber hose is connected to it. ill repeat this it is on the back of the lower intake manifold and its like a brass goldish colored little pipe thats bent alittle like an elbow and theres a rubber hose connected to it but im not sure what it goes to or if i need it. heres a pic!

i went alittle crazy with the yellow outlining just wanted to make sure everyone can see where the hose goes to cuz the pics alittle dark

this isnt a stock manifold, atleast it doesnt look like it, but this is the metal pipe where the rubber hose is comming off of
