Anyways, i was reading R&T today, and on the back page i see this page with ads for custom build replicas. One of them was this nice little car:
http://superformance.com/s1_more.asp I dunnow if many people know/heard of it, but i thought i'd post it anyways. I honestly would love to get something like that when i have the money. Anyways, for those who don't feel like reading: the car comes as a complete rolling chassis without the engine or tranny. What really impressed me besides all the suspension stuff was that it weighs 1062lbs! Now they claim that a 2.0 non boosted engine will make the car run 0-60 in less 5 secs. Now imagine putting a tuned ca or say sr in their and runn 220-250rwhp... Anyways, the chassis costs $23K but i'm pretty sure it's very worth the price |

I've long since been considering a Westfield Megabird as my next project car.

i'd say you'd be better off with a cobra.. but a cool idea for a kit car.. and i don't think they make them, is the dusenberg race cars.. they are huge 1seat cars, i guess you'd just have to see one to know, obviously they aren't well known, or cheap.. but a kit for one would rock my world, but would still cost like 50k :/ *cruel world*

I was looking at that XTR2 by Westfield, anyone know anything more about it, or Exiges, or other kitcars?

Exige is no kit car. Sun International (the guys that import Elise's and stick B18C's in them) had a Motorsports Elise up for sale a couple of years ago. Even the Exige is no match for that thing on the track. |
