So i need to replace my steering column. i have everything unbolted, i also took both bolts out of the knuckle that connects to the steering rack. hammered the knuckle to get the splines loose, nothing works.

so i go into the drivers seat and pull the steering wheel from the inside hoping i can get the splines off any of the the knuckles and this ends up happening...... the inner steering shaft comes apart. which i dont care about really but the splines on the knuckles still haven't budged

i ended up calling it a day since the mosquito's started coming out. but before i quit i drenched that thing with pb blaster.

any idea how to get that godamn thing loose?
