Pro's are that the fans generally look cleaner and don't rob engine power when it's hot, and they're usually small enough to mount where ever you please.

Con's are that you usually have to get some kind of electronic temperature sensor or controller to use them and if you leave your car on for long (and I mean long) times without the engine running you can drain the battery.

IMO when I get the time I'm gonna get some electric fans.

Leave the Mech Fan.

Flex-A-Lites are super ratty.

the slims chomp dicks too, they'll make your car overheat on the track because the fan shroud backs air up and becomes a restriction at high speeds.

I run two SPAL 11 pulls because my shits V-mounted, but it was one of the most unnerving decisions I've made to pull out the clutch fan.

Where is the sensor located? Is it one of those that you insert into the radiator fins?

Those are terrible because they like to fall out. Use a good sensor mounted in the head.

I, too, have FAL, but I don't have a choice with my setup. I would much prefer the OEM clutch fan with shoud.
