Thanks for the compliments guys. The exhaust mani is actually not that bad once u get past the fit net issues. Flicktitty used it on his build with great success as well as many others making big numbers.

I believe Flick used the Treadstone like I am using but nonetheless its the same idea and similar design. Even the Treadstone's have fitment issues here and there so the issue isnt unique to the Ebay version.
For those that think that Log Mani's cant break the 600-ish rwhp as it was thought in the past....see below, its not my car. (Keep in mind this is with a 10:1 CR but still...) Current specifications on the car: - 1994 original 6 speed turbo with ~54,000 miles on the chassis - Built 10:1 compression shortblock with CP pistons and Eagle rods - Stock head with HKS 264 cams only, stock valve springs and hardware throughout - FSR cast manifold turbo kit with PTE6466 0.81A/R, 45mm Turbosmart low profile Hypergate wastegate, wastegate dump recirculated into downpipe - ProEFI128 tuned by Dave Jusko and Ian from FSR - 3 inch turbo back piping (3 inch downpipe to TRD Gen 2, 3-inch exhaust) - Dual Walbro 400 E85 pumps, 43psi base pressure - FIC2150 injectors Results so far: 906WHP, 824WTQ (STD correction, 888WHP SAE) @ 35psi on E85 Talk about a BEAST! Keep up the good work Big Mike..... |

Looking good! The cast manifold might not be the most blingy manifold out there. But it gets the job done! Quick response still holds great power, and it works well with the S13 for clearance reasons.

lol my bad...thats what happens when you cant see pix at work. I thought you were using another Log Mani. I will try and post a pic of my Mani which was ported and heat coated by SP (in black).....may not be blingy but it looks really good IMO. Cant beat the simple design of the Mani and the turbo response/torque that these produce. I am actually concerned about having too much torque on my setup and possibly spinning a rod or something. I have a spare GE block which I am planning to tear down and have upgraded rods and rod bolts installed. Planning to clean the block and then install all of the OEM stuff minus those upgrades mentioned above. The pistons and rest of the block have proven to be very stout so I see no need in spending a butt load of money on upgrading something that I will likely not take advantage of.

Yeah I have 4 gas stations with E85 near me and my buddy who is a chemical engineering has 2 55-gallon drums of E98 sitting in his man-cave. I have the QSV-HDTI and Treadstone. Using this with the 6766 I am sure will cause issues if I push the setup. I will be asking Alpha to keep the tune on the milder side to make sure I dont mess up the rods. Once the spare GE block is ready I will def push 35+ psi just to see where the setup will end up at. For now my low 10's 1/4 mile goal should be ok with this setup but again I am afraid of rod failure if I take it to track before I have the revamped GE block installed.
As far as spinning the tires, I am sure I will have issues. I will be on low boost in street use which should help and really looking at R-Compound tires out back just to help out. I wont necessarily daily this car since I have a daily and work a lot but I will be driving the car whenever I get the chance. If I can use the car 2-3 days out of the week I would be super happy. Very nice...I also installed the R154 using the mount but I paid a little more than $4 (im jelly lol).
Did you keep your original Rosette Rivets or are you installing the Vin Plate using a different method? Im curious because I may have lost (FML...x 1,000,000) my original rivets and might need to get creative to reinstall. Wouldnt want the cops questioning the car especially since my dash never had a vin plate. |

Yeah I forgot....stupid NY. Seriously cant wait to move. They have harassed some of my friends (with hondas mostly lol....) about having "questionable vin plates" even though they have their title, dash vin, and doorjam vin which all match lol. Wish I still had the house in Orlando
I dont remember but I can try and take a measurement this weekend if I can get to the shop. |

Hit a major snag yesterday...
As we lifted the engine/trans at a steep angle we noticed the rear main seal was pouring out a ton of oil... Now Ive pulled the gearbox off to inspect - gotta figure this out before I go any further

That blows dude. I did all of the maintenance work like new oil and water pumps and all new seals while the engine was on the stand for this very reason. GL fixing the issue
