180sx sr20det running fully sick. Tps?
Okay, new member here first post.
Great site. My sr20det 180sx runs like [email protected] Runs rich as (black plugs). Bad fuel economy (20L per 100klms) It won't rev past 3500ish rpms unless I rev it quickly and it backfires through intake But if I unplug the tps it runs fine, revs, no backfiring. I've searched the problem and people say they've replaced the tps and the problem has still been evident. I don't have the money to get items that don't fix the problem I can't check timing cause idle is 1100rpm and iacv screw is stripped. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! I can't check codes cause I have no leds on my ecu and no check engine light to see flashes. The cars a 92 model Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Sounds like maf issues to me too. Start by going over the wiring and giving the maf a good cleaning with appropriate spray cleaner

Really sounds like your maf man. Unplug it and see if there a change in idle. You can check the tps with a multimeter. If its bad I believe I have one or two on spare throttle bodys pay shipping and its yours.

Sorry dude those are spam bots.
What I thinking is you may have a leak somewhere if the maf checks out. Do a boost pressure leak test because turbo.
