uh, no? they stopped selling them because nobody was buying them, thanks to ps2 and xbox. sega made the mistake of coming out too soon and being too weak.

I believe this. I recall that when they announced they Dreamcast was dead they had a ridiculous amount of Dreamcasts left in warehouses. The reason I remember that so vividly is that I remember thinking at the time, "I wonder if there are old Transformers sitting in warehouses that are brand new?".

Yeah this doesn't surprise me. If I had the extra cash right now I would buy one right away.

Haha a whole CD image on 56k?

I remember by the time they discontinued Dreamcast you could get the system and a bunch of games for like 60 bucks.

mine does that thing where it resets itself over and over sometimes. i think there's a fix, though.. and its service was admirable. i remember picking it up on 9-9-99 and having to get Trickstyle because they were sold out of everything else.

Pretty much every girl I've ever known has liked video games........a little.
