B&M short shifter identification v1 vs v2

Is there any way to tell if you have a v1 or v2 B&M short shifter? I see them on ebay for 190 bucks shipped... you think they are old stock v1 shifters? or newer ones... Is there somewhere else better to get them from at a similar price?

Hmmm... I thought that B&M added a rubber insulation between the part of the sifter that goes into the tranny and the part that the knob threads onto. (V2) But it's been a while since i installed mine, 2003...so maybe someone else can help you.

I have a V2 and i know it rattles much less-not at all in comparison to my friend's V1 in his S13. (I own an S14)
