Right now, you'd be crazy to attempt starting a business unless it repossession.
Work...You have to spend money to make it, some of the most successful people in history have started from nothing and become something. I wrote a report on Henry Ford in high school, the way i took it, he told his dad to take the farm and shove it. Worked on steam engines, then Eng. for Edison Illu. then hell you know the rest....I hope.

wow...my guess is that the original poster was asking a sincere question.
Some family friends purchased a gas station for $750K 6 years ago and it has almost paid for itself. $100K down. They are now buying a second one as the first one is nearly paid off. At the pace of making 3/4M every 7 years, it seems quite worth it. They had entertained the idea of opening another franchise business with Subway being the most attractive, but ended up deciding that the gas station option was easy enough so stick to it. It's all about location, volume and inventory turn in the mart... |

4x trading. You only make a little bit at a time but adds up. Should have got some of our Canadian funny money when it was way down. I have a American funds account I transfer money into, then when are dollar takes a nose dive transfer it back with the exchange rate. Not sure if you still get money for it but can't you guys sell blood and baby batter(sperm) in some states?

these two are both really wise words.... trying to make a quick buck only leads you to a quick end...

I flip cars. Let me stress that flipping cars for me is NOT consistent at all(more of a side gig/hobby) but I look every day and all the time. I can flip about one to two cars a month with my current schedule and that will usually land me an extra 300-1000 dollars a month depending on the car
I agree with staying in school and dont focus on making a quick buck. I am fortunate enough to have a nice paying job while in school but I also am debt free I have always believed in managing your debt. Your current job/financial status wont be such a big deal if you dont HAVE to pay a bunch of bills Just study, practice, study somemore, be patient, study, learn some, and learn some more. And save. I get paid every week and I always put a minimum of like 20 dollars or more in my savings. Usually a lot more if I can afford it. It is a nice comfort to know you have some money in the bank in case work was a bad week or you have an unexpected expense |

I joined the marine corps when I was 18 and racked up a decent amount of debt. Right now I own the cars I drive but still have a large monthly bill to sustain. Luckily I have a good paying job but its hard and I don't think I can afford school.

How can you not afford school? That's what the GI Bill is for, unless you done fucked up and got kicked out.
I go to school full time and it is seriously the most rewarding thing I have done for myself. I look at it like a job and like a job I go to school every class. Look into the GI Bill if it's available to you since that's how I get by and life is good. Good luck devil. |

Dosn't it require for independent dealers to have a lot for their dealership, or is there another way to do it?
