sick pictures man! love see old ass blocks getting that fresh look. I'd use a sanding block and block the nissan logo to remove the paint so the words are shiney.

Thanks man. You know, I've thought about doing that with the sand paper, however I've decided I want it to be all black.

Installed the JGS Rubber tranny mount. Gotta say, it's a pretty beefy setup and I can't wait to try it out on the road! I've now owned the car 5 months and haven't been able to give it a wash LOL! It's been sitting in the garage and I've been working on it dirty. Planning on taking it to a pressure wash and getting the underside. (Didn't bolt the mount to the tranny in the picture). I advise that you pick up (3) M10x1.5mm locking nuts; one to fasten rubber mount to the cross member and (2) one for each side of rubber mount to transmission.
-- Drilled 7/16 size hole in the (center ) of the 2 factory mounting holes. This is where the M10x1.5mm studded rubber mount fastens to the cross member. |

I got more goodies ! Got a text from my dad today that read "come over after work, I've got something for you". Show up, and what do you know?! He picked up a z32 N/A R200 VLSD for me! Removed the z32 axles and took the diff to the pressure was to clean it up nicely! Will be painted it to match the subframe/car. Also, will be changing the fluid to Redline GL-5 75W90. Picked up 5 bolt J30 axles for the diff.

I've been pounding away at the car and have gotten SUUUUPER close to being able to fire her up! I'd say within the next couple of weeks I should be golden! Here are some updated pics.
So, getting my intake manifold ready for boost as well, however I will be running it like this N/A also. I will be breaking in the motor N/A. Aluminum welding was getting pretty expensive, so I opted for the tap/plug option. I used 1/8"-27 NPT tap & pipe plugs. Came out pretty good |

Had some time today to remove the s13 tranny that's giving me problems! Picked another one up last night in super excellent condition with all sensors, clutch fork, TOB, shifte, AND crossmember/mount. Decided since the tranny was already out I would drill the hole for the S14 crank angle sensor into the bell housing. Also flocked the dash.
Removed problematic s13 tranny Made my "template" for drilling the CAS. 9/16" back from end of bellhousing (where it meets the block) & 1" from nearest bolt hole. Need to get some washers/spacers to raise the sensor up. |
