so have my kouki 180sx almost 2 years now have sent £££££ on it but love it no matter what i say haha. so il start with my spec list of the car as it stand's to day 25/12/2012 christmas day EXTERIOR red full kouki kit Front bumper splitter and end cap Side skirt Rear bumper spats and center piece Kouki spoiler magic areo roof spoiler raybrig headlights lazy eye thingy crystal side repeat's SUSPENSIONS BRAKE'S AND WHEELS crystal bumper lights race gear rear coil overs with pillow ball topmounts unknown front make coilovers with pillowballs and camber plates subframe locking collars tein front tension rods cusco rear toe arms cusco rear camber arms unknown make rear traction arms 5 stud conversion brand new balljoints brand new s14 inner tie rod's brand new s14 trackrod ends poly bush's in lower control arms s14 4 piston front brake's driftworks braided lines all round soild steering bushing 20mm front spacer's fancy stud's front strut brace rear cusco brace work emotion cr kai's front 17x9 et30 215/40/17 uniroyal rain sports ( et 10 with spacer) rear 18x9.5 et30 225/40/18 sunnys ( et 20 with spacer ) INTERIOR apexi rsm apexi pencil turbo timer nardi 350mm 50mm concave balck red stitch 2 60mm gauges water temp and volts hand brake grip fly off button defi black face 60mm boost gauge and controller . red recaro driver seat apexi safc japspeed short shifter up rated fusion speaker's jvc cd player ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN sr20de +t conversion .. braided turbo lines t28 s15 bb tturbo front mount cooler and pipes japspeed 4brancj plated mani 3" elbow unknow make all A/C removed including rad pump and lines s15 50mm alloy rad dw oil cap blitz 7mm leads all multi layer gaskets all brass non seize nuts s14 vvt injector's turbo flywheel exeedy stage 1 clutch (soon to upgrade ) 2 way diff (unknow'n ) raito approx 3.9 ish diff oil castrol b373 box oil 75w/90 think thats it at the mo .. as of to day santy brought me a exedy stage 2 3puk clutck kit also during the week purchased a sr20det black top non vvt to replace my sr20de turbo'd engine ... so now a complete photo build to day . no shit just facts . will only add a hand full of pic's now to wait for admin to approve this thread ... so the day/night i picked up the car and got it home .. so as when i bought the car it was white non turbo sr20de and had very little spec due to being un wanted here when i bought it . spec in may 2011 was uras kit carbon bonnet jasma stamped 4branch mani 3" unknown make cat back. 2way diff cusco toe arm's so i set about 2 week after buying the car gathering up parts for it.. first off was get coilover's new diff oil new 10w/40 oil and genuine nissan oil filter new ngk spark plugs ect... set about fitting up the coilovers bought some internal drive wheel stud's so got my coil's fitted up bought some wheels to pass the time . rears were ssr's ? there were 18x9.5 et38 and front wer 17x8et 35 went about removing the sprayed on tint on the rear lights went out and got some cheapoo gauges to keep a rough eye on everything purchased some evo 7 seats so went and purchased some more wheels hot stuff corp wheels rears 17x9 et 22 fronts 17x8 et28 so got my boot lid and rear light center garnish painted white bought some raybrig head lamp's are perfect condition broke my uras bumper in piece's so bought a bn sports rep bumper so going to leave it at that for now to let admin approve this thread but if it is i have another 150 to 200 or so pic's of progress to date |

so any way to crack on with this for ye...
so bought a pair of vented 25mm origin "style" wings for it and a standard bonneet so was kinda happy with it for a while like that but nt reaaly ath the same time bought some more wheels . ultralitie battles 17x9 et35 had them a week and sold them on again... so come end of december 2011 i wanted to fresh'n up the paint on the car a little ..... so gave it a full respray in nissan qm1-3 also bought a magic aero roof spoiler form Magic Aero - Home also bought some work emotion cr kai's 18x7.4 et42 all round (WEAK) have no real pics of them tho so that brings me up to march 2012 . this is where the game changed ALOT !!!!!!!!! bought some xxr 527's 17x9.75 et25 all round ... went on a sscrious down after the bit of a bit lost all intrest in the car and everything .....
so a full genuine 180sx kit came up for sale ... so gave the fella a very small amount of cash (very small) cant stress small haha and a damaged bn sports front bumper uras side skirts and uras rear bumper and some origin type 2 30mm over fender's . no pics of the kit before it was painted tho so over night i became an instant life styler so im told so left it to a friend came back 2 weeks later to this was so very happy with the fitment and finish of it ... so set about getting a new exhaust and tyre's over the next 2 weeks blitz nur spec 3" cat back picked up some uniroyla rainsports 215/40/17 for a steal brand new . took out all my coil overs and cleand them and free'd them up ... got some tein tension rods some subframe locking collars and some adjustable traction arms fitted all up and gave it a secrious height drop ... also over here a sr20de is worth no more than 150 dollars so i said id turbo it for the fun of it . so bought a t28 ball bearing turbo japspeed 4 branch mani braided turbo line's s14 water pipe (rear of the head) got the wather neck machined bored the block for oil feed and for return ... so some pic's complete'd and ready for back in... |

so engine back into its resting place ..
so got over a few small problems and got on with the build.... so got all the wheels back on got it lowered down once again and all arms set up .... bought some red recaros new 3" elbow and 2.75" down pipe bought some work eurolines 17x8 et6 |

bought some simple extra lock...
bought my lastest wheels in october of this year .... work emotion cr kais 17x9 et30 and 18x9.5et30 bought some new nissan ball joints to convert to 5 stud . some poly bush's so got my new wheels on .... and some more lowness so the only piece of the original areo thats missing is the kouki spoiler which will be re fitted once painted in after the whole christmas pariod... plans are at the min are to get my new sr20det black top non vvt engine . get a light weight flywheel 1.2mm head gasket mabey some bearings if need'd new nissan water pump and a good checke and general tidy of the engine ..... so santy came yesterday and brought me this a nice start to a new engine so plans are to roll thw archs some more and fit up some rear spacers mabey some 15mm bolt ons i hope shot gun exhaust recaro rail to fit up the passagnger seat possiably some new coilovers come summer time ..... and some PROPPER PIC's cuz i fail bad at them so currently this is where im at now so progress as i go now . cheers for looking |
