Some sort of lighting is all you really need. Like one of those LED light boards that you can double sided tape-on. Might need some sort of cover to help direct light through.

I've built a few at my last job but we had every electronic part you could think of so it was pretty easy.(was used for interior lights) You can check out Superbrightleds.com they might have some.

EL panels are what the OEM light up window louvers use. They're wild. You can cut them to any size. I don't really understand how they still work after.
Also, you'll need a 12v converter but it seems like the ones you bought come with it. |
