Carbon Fiber Fix
I bought a Carbon fiber hood from some local 240 guy for a $100 but its faded and the corner where the windshield is missing a piece of carbon fiber does any one know hot how i can fix the hood before i sand it down and repaint it or am i stuck.

If you are going to paint it you can always just use fiberglass as no one will see the weaving does not extend up into that area.

Fiberglass is the only reasonable way for you to fix that.
I use carbon fiber and Kevlar for aircraft and I highly doubt you would want to buy the glue, resin, prepreg, carbon fiber sheet, bleeder cotton, and a $7k vacuum heater to do it properly with carbon fiber. |

Does no one read where he mentions he is painting it? If so u can fiberglass a new corner. I also had good results fixing a cf hood with 3m panel bond actually. My body guy recommended that to me and its been good for awhile now
