SR20det not getting power
Hi i recently purchased a new battery for my sr swap and the car does not get power unless the key is FULLY turned. If the key is in and on the acc. or even the normal position once the engine has started there is no power, no lights, no clock, no radio, nothing. Now when i turn the key (as if i was starting the car) everything works...but the car doesnt start. The starter clicks once but that's it. Any ideas?

I would start with fuses , ground wires , and possible a new ignition switch , which tends to go bad. Some more information would be helpful , like did your Car have power before the new battery before the sr swap? Did you wire the harness? Battery Relocation ?

Car ran fine with the ka in it, prior to the new battery the old one started when jumped. Now im running an autozone miata battery in the stock location and using a wiring specialties harness (upper and lower)

It doesnt turn over at all, starter clicks once. But i mean even if theres no keys in the dome light, clock, seat belts etc should work. No power until the key is all the way twisted...in this position everything works but the car wont start or even turn over. The car has started multiple times before, pre and post swap

Sounds like a mess but if your Car ran fine with the swap prior to installing a new battery , dont see how that could happen unless the terminals were connect wrong or something.

I honestly feel like its something as dumb as a missed ground or a connection or something stupid, searched and didnt find anyone else with this problem but didnt wanna waste my time going over the whole harness if it was something obvious/common
