I recently bought this car from a local dealer, they had just gotten it in on trade and were going to send it to the auction to sell it wholesale. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. I bought it with the intention of keeping it and selling my 92' but it's not going to work out that way. I really hate to get rid of it but my wife is unemployed right now and I'm starting to fall behind on bills so it's gotta go.
For the TLDR crowd - Cleanest Zenki around $3,300 OBO.
This car is probably the finest example of an unmolested Zenki SE that I have ever personally seen. Overall the car is in great condition with the exception of the paint which is faded and missing the clearcoat on the hood, trunk, spoiler, and roof. The rear bumper and front pass fender are faded as well. There are a couple small door dings on the passenger side and a small crease in rear driver quarter panel. You can barely see it unless the light is hitting it just right. The rest of the exterior is in great shape SE lips and fogs in great shape and fogs still working. The sunroof must have been leaking at some point and someone has put some clear silicone around the the outside seal. The driver outside handle is loose but works fine. The car has all the original body panels and is straight as an arrow.
The interior is nearly flawless except for some fading on the tops of the back seats and the floor mats. The driver door panel has a small tear near the top and the handle/switch panel is loose in the panel due to the mounting point being broken. The factory steering wheel is covered and the center is bubbled which is typical. The rest of the interior looks showroom new. The dash is uncracked and all the center panels are in great shape, the shifter and boot are like new as well.
Mechanically the car is very nice as well. It has 220k on the original engine and trans. It runs great and pulls hard for being a factory unmodded KA. The clutch grabs really nice, which makes me think it's been replaced at some point. The tires and brakes are in good shape. The A/C blows ice cold, and the heat works fine. The factory radio works and even the factory power antenna still works. I haven't tried the sunroof since it's been sealed from the outside. Power locks and mirrors work great, as does the pass power window. The driver window switch is starting to go out and only works sometimes.
