Curiousity got the best of me lol "personal" card for a sex shop LINK DELETED Anyway not a fan of the S14.5 front end either, but it might look better with a different bumper. I hate that "drift" bumper. |

Some more work done to the fenders.
We had a big setback too. It turns out that around the mounting points of the rear coilovers there was a lot of rust and some big holes because of that. We removed some rust from the left fender too. |

Dont get rid of the front wheels! just sell those front fenders and buy wider ones. That car is going to need the most gangster stance possible! S14.5 look like hell without bigger overs on all four corners.

I already looked into that. The problem is that there are no wider S15 conversion fenders. I've searched for several months. And some company's I e-mailed don't even reply at all. So therefore I got the other set of wheels.

All the rust has been removed, new steel has been welded in and everything has been treated to prevent from rusting again:
We also aligned the headlights with the hood and fenders so everything is straight: |

You're doing it wrong! The card is to fit between the wall of the tire and the inside of the fender, and if it can hang there, it shows you are running so flush you are mm from touching. Anyone can set a card on top of their tire. And yes, those front rims looked awesome but sadly where WAY to wide please tel me the hood will not have that stripe? fab work looks great, great attention to the details. should look really nice and those rear over fenders give it a bit of agressive feel, i like it, and i hate conversions. |

Thanks all for your nice comments!
We fabricated some sliding brackets to mount the front bumper and prevent it from sacking in the corners below the headlights: Extra support for the front fender: And a support on the front was fabricated: We also mounted the side skirts, rear bumper, kouki trunk lid and kouki spoiler. |

We have adjusted my exhaust so it comes straight out of the middle of the hole in my bumper. Some hours grinding, adjusting and welding later.
Before: After : We also made a battery box which is lowered into the trunk. Over which I can make a flat floorboard for in my trunk. Makes it look tidy in the back. We also tried my new front wheel from Japan, 18x10 +41 (+30mm spacer) 235/40: I'm not really pleased with the low disk compared to my other wheel. So we're going to try and fit a S13 LCA and try to fit my big dish 10J ET -14 (+10mm spacer) wheel. |

Great attention on the s15 front end install and fitment! Personally I don't like that front bumper at all, but good stuff so far, keep it up!
You didn't have to do all that fab. work for the battery! They have small dry cell batteries that fit and tuck almost anywhere in the trunk! Run smaller tires in front and you're good to go with the deep rims! Just wondering what's the purpose of this car when it's done? Is it your daily? |

Thanks for the compliment!
Smaller tires is not the solution as the rims are sticking out to much. In the Netherlands we are not allowed to drive like that. Yes, it's my daily so it also needs to be practical. Hence the battery that low in the trunk. Else, where would I put my 2 crates of beer when I do my groceries? |

We fitted the S13 LCA and now my deep dish 18x10 -14 (+10mm spacer, so actually -24) fits! So, I'm a happy man!
It's on maxmimum camber (with a camber bolt as well) as you can see from the front: I also want to add a 5mm spacer to the back and give it some negative camber as well.

Yes, I want to adjust the camber. But as I said before, I cannot run a smaller tire as it is not allowed to drive with wheels, tires, rims that are sticking out of the fenders in the Netherlands. So I'm looking into narrower brake calipers and/or wider front fenders. I know that Origin Labs S15 conversion fenders are 30mm instead of Chargespeed 20mm ones. But I cannot find any pics of cars with these fenders on to compare with.

Great build so far, so any luck trying to find overfenders for the front? I think you should keep your front wheels and just run streched tires. Im looking forward to the rest of your build.

No, I still haven't found any. I found this pic, they look wider but I can't find any info about the car.
And I'm still trying to find any pics of Origin S15 conversion fenders mounted to a car.
