That make me laugh, you know its going to come around and catch up to them at some point.
I just point out the profiling thing against the owners of 240SXs and drifting. Cops have been profiling modified cars for longer then Ive been alive. |

Exactly, it really doesn't matter what car you're in. As long as it doesn't look haggard as hell and you drive like a normal person then what's the problem? I've never been "profiled" in any of my cars. I've been followed and had my plates ran a few times, but guess what, my shit was good and life continued on. If you really think these street drifting retards are going to make 240's more of a target, remember that people street race in everything under the sun.

If I was that silver cAr I would have followed and reported them
The *fhp shit works here. There was a fellow 350z owner driving like an asshat, I reported his ass, and he was pulled over about 10 minutes later. Stopped and gave my statement and went On my way.. Idiot drivers are idiot drivers. Doesn't matter what you drive, IT doesnt make it acceptable. Time and place for everything. Public road is not it

If you live there and aren't reporting this you're a moron. If you're worried
About cops hassling you in your 240, don't drive like an asshole. If you don't give them a reason they won't mess with you. |

"how would we feel if someone reported us for our exhausts?" last time i checked, our exhausts dont fly into oncoming traffic or fishtail towards pedestrians...how can you not have the mental capacity to extrapolate that? amazing! although i would agree that getting publicity in the news may be counter productive...in the very least, their local PDs should know about this and punish them accordingly... if D1 drivers in japan get punished for street drifting "somewhat responsibly" at night when roads are virtually deserted (not that i advocate that either) and have 1000 times more skill than these noobs, these kids should definitely be off the streets...

I missed that. Pathetic, I think most of us here know when the car is jerking back and forth like that, the driver is fighting for control, not to mention he spins out into the grass. Skills would've been had just straightened out the car into his own lane and never gotten close to the other car.

itt: people who like to pretend that they've never drifted the streets.
yea guys! lets act all high and mighty because "weve realized how dangerous it is and now we keep it on the track" now that youve been "saved" lets forget about times that im sure most of you have put people in danger. |

EXACTLY, unless you run into d-bag cops that decide to make up their own rules, like in the dance mob video, than drive around in whatever the F**K you want and smile and wave at every police car. rub it in their face that you are driving the speed limit and stopping at every stop sign. in a car that is within the rules, and a driver driving within the rules, it doesnt matter what the "rep" is

Who the hell else would I be talking about? Ofcourse the fool on foot that almost got hit is his fault for being in that spot trying to get footage. I'm talking about the car that had nothing to do with their business. Let me rebold yet another part of my statement. Quote:
All those ingredients, not just one. No shit most everyone here has seen/done street drifting, but how many have been this blatant about it. If persons involved get injured, that's their own fault, when people that have anything to do with it get put in danger, THAT is the problem. You need to reform your idea of high and mighty and doing what's right. high and mighty would be scolding these fools, then going out in the same exact situation on purpose to do it better, document and brag about it and think it's ok because they're better. Doing the right thing is getting these clowns to realize they nearly destroyed someone that had absolutely nothing to do with the events, and then go brag about it like it was the coolest shit ever. Fuck man I'm done.

"Street drifters almost kill civilian"
I think thats a little overkill no? "If" he would have hit that car it would have been no worse than getting rear ended at a red light. |

Just throwing it out there, that if this was in japan, or some built drift cars on the street, they would be getting praised by most of you. It was obviously someone they knew recording on the side of the road.
They're idiots for doing that, but not like the same thing doesn't happen all over the world. Why not go report all of the other cars in other street drifting videos? Especially all the ones people on here JO to because of how awesome they are. Also, that was almost some sweet sideswiping action on the mercedes |

My head is going to explode if someone else comes in here trying to defend these fools and point the finger at everyone being street drifting hypocrites...

That's the best defense I've ever heard... I'm going to have to start using that.
'you should wear a helmet' -No need to, I'm a welder. 'make sure to signal lane changes' -No need to, I'm a welder. 'always practice safe sex by using a condom' -No need to, I'm a welder.

Putting other people in harm's way no matter what you're doing is stupid. If this video had been on an empty road at night, this thread wouldn't exist. And even when I have seen cars drifting on a not so empty street (some of the videos DustinSixOh9 is bringing up), they had spotters and an organized system where you wait until it is clear to go. All the guy had to do was not take the turn. He should have seen the car coming, and even if he didn't, there were at least 2 people outside of the car that could have signaled that. tl;dr - idiot thinks he is a pro and trying to imitate tokyo drift, while camera idiots let a car drive by into his path. Idiot #1 is confident enough in his skills that he will make it through the turn despite oncoming traffic (momentum is non-existent in his world..). Idiots #2 & #3 continue to do nothing. stl;sdr - idiots everywhere |

I hope you know that, while I share your opinion of these idiots, using that derogatory term will in fact get you pinked. Jussayin' bro.
