Hey i am planning to lower my car and i was wondering what a good set of coil overs are. Also if i went with shocks and spings what would be a good combo. something thats a good price and good quality. I want to remove some of the space between the wheel and the wheel well. so what would be a good size rim to go with also. Just as a reminder i drive a s13. thanks

depends on what style u wanna go for. basic rule, more rim n less tire or more tire less rim. my 15's w/ 195/50/15 tires take up just as much space as someone's 17's i've seen. i'm sure someone will answer ur suspensin question though cuz other ppl know more, i don't have adjustable shocks/struts.

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for in a suspension setup.  If you're looking for a decently priced performance setup, I'll suggest KYB AGX adjustable gas shocks and Eibach ProKit springs.  This will give you a nice firm ride and about 1.5-1.75" less of wheelgap.  And you should be able to find both for less than $700...and if you look, you can find them for less than $600.

I am looking for more rim the wheel. I am looking to get rid of most of the space between the wheel and the wheel well. I also want the setup to be a good performance set up

Sorry, no KYB AGX shocks for the S14, except for the front only or something. Which is ass. However, for S14's, you'll be extremely happy with Koni yellows. I've heard nothing, but good things about 'em. They're worth the price ($500-$570). Shox.com has nice package deals and they'll quote you on shipping and everything.

I've heard that Koni yellows are really hard to adjust though.  And difficult to get both sides at the exact same setting or something.

I just bought tokico blues and H&R springs for Neuspeed all for less than 500(499 to be exact).  They will be going on my car after thanksgiving.  Shop around!  I also went into my local tuner store and told the guys there what the cheapest price I've seen was and asked if they could beat it.  They did!!  Good luck
