Brakes
Might be a dumb question, but what is needed to do the brake swap off the
Q45?? I have read what is required for the 300z and was looking at going in that direction, but i am interested in the other swap now. Im not trying to make my car the baddest in town. Just trying to make it better all around. I don t like the brakes. Not enough umph. I have new pads, rotors, fluid and lines. Still not enough for my tastes. |

You just need the calipers and rotors, brake lines are the same fitting as the 240sx, if you havent converted to 5 lug, then you need to re-drill the rotors to fit 4 lug. You will also have to either bend/cut/remove the dust shield.

1990-96 Q45 also I heard you can use M30 rotors since they are suppose to be the same size as the Q45 & j30 rotors, but in a four lug pattern. You can still keep your bmc I would also look into the Z31 rear conversion, but if not then your factory ones should be just fine with a pad upgrade.
