The offset doesn't matter as much as the type of wheel face you get. When people say their wheels have 'low disk', 'o-disk', or 'super-low disk' or something long those lines that means there is not much room for brake calipers. That usually means the wheel has more concave or a larger lip then maybe expected.

Most wheels are made to run in the center of the hub so it doesnt put alot of stress on the bearing and when you change that with spacers or an offset wheel it puts more load/leverage on the bearings.

It depends on the coilovers.

That sized/offset should clear most coilovers without a problem. Since a 225/235 is stretched you will not have to worry about the tire hitting.

Alright guys, I bought my S13 about two months ago and the previous owner installed a HUGE annoying tach on the dash above the center vents, I would like to remove it and just use the stock gauges, but the car has a SR swap and the stock tach and speedo doesnt work,, i wandering if the gauges not working is caused by the swap?? and if so what can I do to have a speedo and a working tach without having to put another huge annoying one on the dash!

Is the car a 89-90? If so you need to get a 91-94 cluster...maybe a few other things. I've never owned a S13 but I know the clusters are different between the SOHC and DOHC motors. It should be a relatively easy fix.

The car itself is a 90' but I was told that the motor is prob a 94 model due to the cooling fins.

It doen't matter what year the motor is. If you swap a DOHC KA or SR20 into a 89-90 240sx you have to swap out the cluster and do some very simple wiring on your F plug.
