well there are definatley plenty of 240's around san diego that is for sure. as for meets and events there can really be as many as you want, you just got to plan some and become friends with a few of the drivers. plan a meet and they will come. if you like the illegal rae scene this is the place to come as well. every saturday and friday night you are sure to find plenty of cars out there.

Man, we don't have goat dodo as far as meets here in the Bay Area. You southern Cali guys really got some cool organized events.

Maybe I'll come up grant. I plan on coming up in the next month or so to do my tranny swap anyways.

Anyways, this whole topic has me pretty sad, I'm gonna to hunt down a riced up Honda and do grossly inappropriate buzzing bumblebee noises as I cruise by. They are dime a dozen here in Oakland.

just a side note,

if anyone wants to go auto-xing, there is an event on the 30th too. (its not sponsored buy us, just wanted to notify everyone) hell in a perfect world i'd go to that in the early morning, then hit up the meet later on in the day. if anyone is interested i'll post some event info.

okay, grant asked me do a recap of whats goin down.

basically, we meet/greet/show starting around 10AM. BYOB, i mean, <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'> BYO Food. around 3 pm, if there's enough interest, we'll go ahead for a short impromptu cruise, and i think since there are gonna be so few people there, we might not even bother with a video cause the only several people have expressed sincere interest in the project. and by cruise, i've been told that there is not really going to be a cruise because no one is committed enough to spend gas money or there own time in tearin up the roads. we're probably gonna drive from mission bay out to some restaurant which has yet to be determined, and from there we break off. bring something to do, cause were probably projecting around 20 cars to show up, and i honestly don't know how that's gonna keep people there for 5 hours.

mckinney's lasted 5 hours, the SERCA/SoCal240sx  lasted about 7 hours, so I dont see a problem. If every one gets that bored, we'll leave early and go to a restaurant and eat (not Red Robins because people like to complain) <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':angry:'>, or if you guys want, just leave for home from there. For the guys who want to cruise and go eat, sign up, because we might need to make a reservation at a restaurant.

Not everyone will show up right away as some are coming from LA, so I figure these guys need some time. See you guys there.

BYOB, i mean, <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'> BYO Food. around 3 pm, if there's enough interest, we'll go ahead for a short impromptu cruise, and i think since there are gonna be so few people there, we might not even bother with a video cause the only several people have expressed sincere interest in the project. and by cruise, i've been told that there is not really going to be a cruise because no one is committed enough to spend gas money or there own time in tearin up the roads. we're probably gonna drive from mission bay out to some restaurant which has yet to be determined, and from there we break off. bring something to do, cause were probably projecting around 20 cars to show up, and i honestly don't know how that's gonna keep people there for 5 hours. see ya there.
