Monaco Grand Prix (warning: results listed)
Back home in England at the moment, so I didn't have to get up early to watch the Grand Prix live. I added the warning above just in case any of you wanted to watch a re-run and didn't want to know the finishing results.
1. F. Alonso 2. L. Hamilton 3. F. Massa Finally, us brits have a consistent driver... go Hamilton!! McLaren really does have a great team with Alonso and Hamilton.

Wow other people who watch F1.
I dont know i usually support England but something about Hamilton bothers me. I think if Raikkonen hadnt damaged his car in qualifying that maybe Masa would have had a better chance.

McLaren has a very strong team....but thats obvious
I agree that I would like to see Kubica do better. I would also like to see either 1)one of the ferrari powered independents step up, 2) aguri get stronger, 3)Jarno start pressuring for a podium. Any 1 or all of these would make the season much more exciting. Hamilton is a steady driver on a well disciplined team. Time will tell how good he really is and really will be.

I think Hamilton rocks driving wise, he shows the skill that it takes to have a very successful career. It was also good to see local boy Scott Speed do so well. Seeing as he is constantly plagued by the bad luck of mechanical issues. I also concur on Super Aguri, Takuma Sato is another good driver that has been plaugued by the trials of the teams he is on in the mechanical department.

Super Aguri are doing pretty good. They didnt do great at Monaco but at the race in Spain they scored there first ever point which is awesome. Sato i think is a talented driver and will only conitnue to get better as the team learns.
I want Masa to win more. I think hes an awesome driver. And Hamilton is very talented but seems to cocky.

Yeah, it was nice to see Speed do better. Sato is actually hindered by his team but that seems to be getting better all the time.
I'm really glad to see a few other F1 fans on here!

Wow, F1 fans! Wanted to make an F1 thread but they tend to die down pretty quick.

Thougth Raikkonen was going be better than his been so far. Maybe there's something to the rumors about his 'commitment' after all. I like Massa but for some reason I just don't think he fits as Ferrari's #1. There was some talk about the possibility of Michael coming back to help developing the car. Heard it didn't sit well with Kimi. Super Aguri has improved greatly and at times done better than the main team. Whatever happened to Renault? True about Scott Speed and his poor luck. Always hear he is atop in practice days but something always seems to happen come qualifying or race day. Cant' wait for the North American stint of the season coming up. |

One of the most boring races I have ever seen. I fell asleep after first pit stops, woke up too see Alonso on the podium. Seriously, other than the nascar race, it was a boring weekend for motorsports. DOES F1 HAVE TO BE SO BORING. The last good exciting race I saw was Suzuka 06, before that, Suzuka 05. They should just run that all year round. :\
PS- thank god spa is back.
