Ross's PIC HEAVY Z32 TT Build
I thought i'd share my build with everyone. It's most def. in progress...
First and foremost, I'd like to thank Greg @ SpecialtyZ... he's been a saint to me throughout this. Background- My father bought this car new in 1990. He drove it until he died in 2000, and around ~2002 my mother gave the car to my cousin. The cars condition deteriorated to an extent, and after selling my 2008 VW GTI and picking up a Tundra, I decided I was ready to take on the build of a monster. Not gunna go into great detail, just pics. The motor had a terrible knock but it went away, i'd think due to sticky lifters or something along those lines... got some fresh oil into the car and it's gone. Goal: 400+whp/93 oct & 500whp/q16 Weekend car w/ excellent suspension & stopping power Anyway, pics. The good stuff... Time to get wrenchin... What the car needs as of now- MS Manifolds X pipe Paintjob Fix some electrical/power steering issues Tires I havent diagnosed any brake/suspension issues yet. |

I need to remember to come over here once in a while and update!
Plenum pull... if anyone has ever done one on a Z with no EGR delete or water line bypass you understand my pain. Time to mount these monsters- Buddies helping me out- Little dremel work, all stock IC's and pipes removed. Turbo pipes on. Calling it a day. Tomorrow- mounting up the I/C's and playing jigsaw puzzle with the piping, as well as EGR delete (partial) |

Had to delete the carbon canister and fight with couplers and pipes for a while but i'm satisfied with the end result- Everything is clamped down now. I accidentally broke my det sensor sub harness when I pulled the plenum... so the next project is to put a new one in without disassembling the entire car.. |
