ECU next to battery power wire from trunk noise
I have an s13 coupe with the battery relocated to the trunk. 0 gauge wire running from the trunk to the engine bay. battery is fine. i also have a new wiring specialties harness for the engine. the problem is that when i am driving (or idling) i can turn on any electrical load and the car will run up to 2 points richer on my wideband. Using blower motor, headlights, wipers, anything will make a noticeable difference in the AFR. i am not wondering if this is being caused by the fact that my power wire from the battery runs right next to the ecu and runs out the same ecu grommet in the firewall (touching the ecu wire bundle on its way out).n i feel like this is pretty dumb and i shoudl know this but maybe someone has had similar issues with this in the past or just knows for sure that im dumb. the engine is a ca18det if that matters at all. i have gotten rid of my stock coil packs and ignitor and now use a patch cable where the ignitor used to be and that runs to the coil packs.
Thanks in advance.
