Hello everyone!
I'm back to begin another chapter of the S14's build, re-build, and improvements. Finished off last season here in St. Louis with two events at Gateway Motorsports Park on the road course. Here's a picture of the entry from the Driver Invitational in October . Every time I was getting deeper and deeper into angle entering in the middle of 4th gear. As you can see, my headlight is gone, well I went off track through turn 4 at about 100 mph after a tire de-laminated, all grip was lost, so I slid in the grass for about 100 feet and slow rolled into a tire barrier at ~20 mph. Welp. I finished the rest of the event, then as I was loading on the trailer, the intercooler SMACKED the lip of the trailer and cracked. Shit luck x__X. The mounts had bent down from the off-track hit, I hadn't noticed. Another shot from that event! Jeff Le Photo! So, I ordered a new intercooler, changed the oil and it was ready for the next road course day November 17. Turbonetics/Spearco. Rated to 650 HP, about half as thick as the old Apex'i core that was on there, very nice piece. Last minute alignment. You can see more of the damage from the wreck! Thanks to Erik Le and Josh Miller for the alignment hookups! Tandem with Andrew Lewis in his LS1 Powered S14. Entry shot again! I was trying to go backwards..... Picture of myself. Max Lilley Photo Damn Deer. Jump to 24 seconds in. So, the season ended. Now it's time for the winter re-build. Here's where I am today. Stripped interior, new cage is on the way! AEM Water/Meth! - I will not be tuning for this and adjusting timing. This is simply a fail-safe and extra blanket of security on the engine. Also in the works: - Nismo 2-Way Rear Diff - Driftworks FLCA and RLCA - Rear Firewall - Power Steering cooler setup - Interior paint - Engine gaskets, maintenance Oh, and me and the car got published in a magazine. I also was just accepted into the Achilles Racer Support Program! 2013 is looking VERY promising! Stay tuned for updates. Much much more to come! |

Small update; I had to share this one with you all.
Car goes off to the cage builder the 1st week of February. More pictures thus after! In the meantime, I was going to have the car parked at a booth for the St. Louis Auto Show, however, it is in 500 pieces. So the next best thing? A 6'5'' poster of it! I'll try to grab some pictures to share with you all when I attend the show this weekend. Special thanks to DriftSTL and Gateway Motorsports Park! |

Cage update for everyone!
The car is torn down. The motor is getting general maintenance and cleaning. Here is the new cage! Finally have my seat mounted on the floor for my 6'6" height. HUGE Thanks to Mike O'Mara at Nocturnal Motorworks/JDM Hookup for the awesome fabrication and attention to detail. The car is at the painter right now getting the front end fixed as well as new interior and engine bay paint! First event this season is April 6th and 7th for Midwest NO Star Bash. Stay tuned! |

Finally another update for everyone!
I got the car back from paint/front-end work on Thursday March 28th as a rolling, interiorless chassis. We had exactly 8 days to put EVERYTHING together. Luckily, my spring break was the same week, so I could devote all my time to the car. So we started and after seven hours of work, here is where I ended up: Oh, by the way, the interior and engine bay are white xD I put these on because the Driftworks ones wouldn't work with my coilovers. This is now Wednesday, April 3rd and the car runs and drives! As per every pre-event ritual, alignment time, because I'm picky! This is my most aggressive and gripy alignment to date. Tire sponsorship vinyls. So, we headed to DriftIndy/Club FR No Star Bash on April 6th and 7th. I made four runs on Saturday before blowing my turbo, bad! Oil hit the spark plugs and fouled everyone out. The turbo failed at about 12:00 pm, so I quickly grabbed a couple pair of hands and we had the turbo off in about 15 minutes. I luckily found a turbo shop open near Downtown St. Louis, and by 4 pm, I had a freshly rebuilt turbo! Sadly, the event was over by the time the car was running. On to Sunday! We got to the track early and wanted to diagnose a sporadic misfire. I finally got it fixed after switching coilpacks around and replacing one pair. Also, we had to make a blow-off valve block off plate overnight because my Greddy Type-R was leaking! All the bugs were finally worked out. I drove the car ALL day Sunday, hot lapping it. Let's just say it ran it's ASS OFF. The alignment was perfect, tons of grip and speed, I loved it. Also, I got to be apart of a special shoot with BG and Brian within the Hoonigan video, so keep your eyes peeled for that video soon! Oh, it was my birthday too, the friday before the event. Such a rad weekend! Driving with Dan Sommer of Nocturnal Motorworks in his 1JZ S13. He and Mike O'Mara have helped me tremendously with this car through all my fabrication needs. Oh, here's the shop car they built! Kind of cool that this thing is local to St. Louis. The Achilles provided tons of grip and smoke ALL day! These were the ATR Sports, by the way. Anxiously waiting to get my hands on the ATR 2's and 123s! Driftworks knuckles are incredible. Another picture of the cage from the rear. Looks great in white. I'd also like to go ahead and announce that Rival House has joined my campaign for the Midwest Drift Union Formula Drift Pro/Am Series! I look forward to representing and spreading their blog, vinyl, and t-shirt brand! They were responsible for the Low Junk Car Show at No Star Bash! rivalhouse.bigcartel.com https://www.facebook.com/Rival.House?fref=ts This is all for now! I'll be updating this more. I also have another big announcement coming next week, so stay tuned! Thank you all. |

Hello everyone. Sorry for my hiatus!
Just to get everyone up to speed. I ran the complete MDU series last year. The car ran incredible all season. We had some great qualifying places and some very high finishes putting me 9th in points! Now, I have taken a step back from the car as my first child was born. We welcomed into the world a lovely and healthy daughter in November of 2013. I have been working very hard to finish my undergraduate studies and have been on a preparation track to go to law school in the Fall of 2014. Deep breath; so life has been quite busy! Here are a few photos to get everyone up to speed: Car in all its glory competing in 2013. Business. Gateway, St. Louis. Bought an enclosed trailer too! 26' finished interior, winch, air conditioning, tool boxes, etc! Hung out with my dog a lot. That's all for now! We have some plans and changes for 2014; nothing too crazy as I had originally planned. But I'll be sure to keep everyone up to speed. One more thing. We will welcome Axcel Sports to the group of sponsors for 2014. They have custom built me a fire suit for my extra height. I'll have pictures of that soon! Thanks for all the support everyone! |
