Next is finish up the bay. Fill extra holes, seam ceal, primer and paint. Then get the motor back in and start wiring.

Sold my baby (truck) to get this project going again. At least it was to a friend and I can see it and drive it when I miss her haha.

In the last couple days we finished the filler on the tubs and got the bay ready for primer. We decided to hold off on the final painting of the bay till all the body work is done that way it all gets done at once and we dont have a issue of fucking up the paint in the bay. Also started to sand the car down for body work.

Today we welded up some more hols and the rust we found also shaved the antenna and rear wiper arm.

the rust spot

blue tape is the shit when you need to make patterns

the new piece of metal

the finished spot of rust

Started the rear cuts on the wheel wells and fenders

In the last few days we have:

Got the bay, bash bar, fm mount, headlight brackets and all that good stuff painted. Got all the rest of the motor cleaned up and painted and put back together. HOPEFULLY by the end of the weekend we will have the break lines ran. Get the cross member bolted back up and get the motor in. Then off to wiring.

Thanks man. I'd like to see updates too haha. Stupid little crap gets shit held up. Down side of living in a smaller town is you can find stuff you would think would be simple to find. Like a nut for a ball joint, go figure

So fell behind on the build. Ran into some technical difficulties with the paint and have to start all over. Hopefully will have some good updates soon. But in the mean time i thought id show my new addition to the family.

pretty much all stock, other than a cat back tanabe, Tokiko springs and HID's
Auto with a rebuild with 30k on it. Just going to be my DD for now.

So after lots of planing, time, and money my wedding is over. Now this is the reason my wife hates me build. Time to get back to the car.

Had a big problem with the paint on the bay and had to strip it all the way down and start all over. With the AZ heat and losing our motivation this took three and a half months.
In the middle of the mess

finally got it all stripped out and primered again

and today got the paint down

Also build a rear bash bar

Thanks guys really appreciate kind comments.

Last few days we have been mocking up the front end. Hopefully get all the body work finished up within the next few weeks.

Had the windshield pulled today so we can deal with this beauty

Tomorrow mounting the rear over fenders
