course testing complete, we used multiple cars with all kinds of different power ranges and sizes, came up with a great course that will be both challenging to the driver and exciting to watch for the people in the grandstands.

This oval is good for all sorts of cars. The red S13 in the video is a stock SOHC! Bank drifting for everyone!

RULES UPDATE
Please see http://www.driftbuffet.com/comprules.htm and look for the parts in red. I think most of you will find the changes agreeable. If you don't, well, I'm sure I'll hear about it But the feedback is good! We want rules that are simple, clear, and favorable to drivers, but ultimately fair and safe.

This is in the other thread also but here it is for this thread, Shows the transition into the infield. This is not the Comp. course layout but the transition will be the same. Comp layout is better!
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oID=1973505180 I will have a vid up with all the test drivers probably tonight. |

i don't know if you are going to get a complete driver's list, but i think colin/cfrost, chas/chas, jeff/he drifts a miata, riley, and myself are doing tandem class, and ryan/newblood is the only person i know doing street class.
what do you mean by more details? |

go to www.driftbuffet.com for all information on rules
i'm pretty sure that if you have an sr and cage, your car's class will be up to the organizers. i imagine you'll be fine in street class. |

Practice and licensing will be rolled together for this event to make sure people get max practice time. Licensing in the future will be handled at our practice events, not the comps. As a result, there will be two, 90 minute sessions per class, so there will be hours and hours of practice. Also, with two classes, 32 cars will qualify to compete, so your chances are actually pretty decent. Gates open at 7:00am, tech opens at 7:15. Driver's meeting is at 8:00 and is absolutely mandatory. Spectator gates open at noon, and gates close by 9:00pm. It is a full day of fun! I will post the final schedule in the next few days. Thanks guys!
