Hi guys, wondering if any of you guy  could help, I've got the UK 200SX ca18det and last night the car alarm kept going off, i checked it out and it seems the ignition is coming automatically, here's what happened:
First of all the lights in the dash kept going on and off rapidly (the little ones that tells you when your petrols low etc), also the relay in the bonnet named EGI kept flickering, couldn't find out the problem so i had to leave it with the alarm off, then in the morning the battery had run out, managed to jump start it and drive around, now the car doesn't even turn off at all, I have to deliberately stall it and disconnect the battery, I think it might be the relay but haven't checked it yet, seems like somethings stuck the ignition on.  I'm really stuck on this now and don't know what to do so I hope someone knows whats happened.  Help appreciated

Thanks in advance

What year is your car? My 90' doesn't have a stock alarm that I know of, is it an aftermarket alarm?  Have you reconnected the battery and tried out the car again, disconnecting battery reset's the ECU, that might fix it if your lucky.  Check the relay definatly. Seems wierd that your battery died overnight, something must be sucking power from it overnight (the alarm???) I say disconnect the alarm altogether and see how that go's (if it's stock pull the fuse that controls the alarm, if it's aftermarket cut off it's power supply) Keep us update as to what it is.
