ok i have 2 problems with my intake
1) problem with air temp sensor.... where the #### does it go after u get an aftermarket intake?
2) extra hose that came off the resinator box and plugs into to a black box, what does it do and i know it sucks air.... i cant use a breather for it cuz the whole is a 1/2 inch size

How many red connector hoses did they send?

there is 3 hoses off the intake....
1 goes into the engine block (valve cover)
1 is a 1/2" vaccuum line...
1 is a really small, should be some type of vaccuum line...
and there is one hose that should be a vaccuum line (maybe to the exhuast) from the driver side... that went into the stock intake box and it goes no where now...

For the AIV air box (plastic black box) you can put a breather filter on there. The air temp sensor is up to you. I have mine sitting on top of the MAF, it was just hanging there for awhile but I didn't like that. I haven't ran into problems yet. I have an 89 so it might be alittle different if you have a DOHC.

dave we have the same engine..... but yeah, no problems yet with the air temp sensor just sitting around.... maybe i should screw it into the intake where there is extra rubber before the filter- between the filter and the piping
