The BC crank is ridiculously priced. Do you know you have to chamfer the edges of all your bearings because they can't get the machining right?

They also make a stock stroke crank btw. Either way you have to machine your block for the new counterweights.
This is Dustin from Bc. The crank is fully counterweighted so there is some machine work required in the block and we use bigger radiuses on the rod journal for added strength. If anyone has any questions on the crank my direct line is 619-749-9018 ext 101 or you can email me @ [email protected]

Bob:
"i've been working hard for the last 10 years, built 25 of these ka engines, raced every single one of them and blew it up, figured it all out, it needs these parts to be consistent at this power level:
(500BHP parts and mods list 1-100)

I've invested thousands of dollars in research to develop the tools and standards used to make this engine perform well.
It was necessary because nobody was willing to share the costly information with me!!! "

Joe:
"I've never built an engine. But I wanted 500BHP. So 10 years ago I installed a $1800 2jz engine in my 240 and slapped a 60-1 on it and been daily driving ever since on a SAFC with pump gas."

/win?
moral: the path you take makes no difference to the final outcome if all outcomes are the same
