Then I drove the hell out of it for about a year!

Next I decided I was gonna build a single cam. So the build starts

why did you spend that much on performance motor parts and decide to put them all in a single cam instead of building the dual cam ka that's already in the car?

1. Thank you for not taking 129038102938479123 pictures of you tearing down the stock engine and/or interior.

2. Looks good so far.

hahaa good question. The dual cam that was in there was crappy, someone else swapped it in, it ran good but was very weak.....So I decided to build a strong single cam. With all the crazy swaps everyone is doing, they are almost becoming the norm. Who doesn't have or know someone with a SR or a ka24de, LSx, etc. I just love the way the Single Cams perform.

Been way too long, but the car is running as of October 2018. Still have a long way to go, but after so many years of it being down, putting myself through school, transitioning into a new career, I’m focused on getting this car where I’ve envisioned it. It’s running strong, I was able to get on track and do a light shakedown on the car. Next steps right now are finishing the small things in order to get the vehicle to pass state inspection, get it registered and insured, then I’ll start focusing on cosmetics and wheels! Huge thanks to the homie Spencer @Dashbuilt Not much has changed but here’s some new pics.

hahaaa yeah, that was my first year when I moved to Texas, I was working with a shop and we had a driver who was competing in Houston. That's where I met Stephen and me being a person in a similar situation it was really inspiring. Got a sticker that day and it's never coming off the car! Cool that you spotted that and knew what it was
