New 1 piece driveshaft too long and now it's stuck

I have a J30 diff in the car and have been running the stock non abs drive shaft for a while.
I just got a 1 piece from the drive shaft shop for a ABS s14 and just installed it. It went in the trans fine but it seems like it was slightly too long. I gave it a good push to get it lined up to the diff flange but now it's stuck. I can't spin the drive shaft by hand and I can't get it off.
Any ideas?

I'm thinking maybe the dust shield is maybe a little too small and the new drive shaft has a larger joint at the end? But I can't even check it out because for the life of me I can't get the drive shaft off to check.

Loosen the differential bolts that hold it to the frame. Or use a pry bar to pull some tension off the trans to slip it out.

Good ideas. I give it a try in a few hours.

Once I get the drive shaft out Im also going to check the prop shaft seal depth. I put a new one in and tapped it until it was flush with the end of the trans, maybe it needs to go in further.

Loosing the diff bolts worked perfectly.

Now I can see what the issue is. The dust seal ID is too small and it rubs on the yoke. I could probably cut the dust seal, but in my research I didn't see any mention of anyone else having this problem.

Most remove it altogether. Just cut an inch or whatever is needed off and tap it back on.
