Hello,
anyone know where I can purchase a compressor wheel for the GT2871R 52 trim?
the compressor bracket came loose and damaged the blades. I ve tried to contact garrett directly but told me to contact their vendors. so I called ATP turbo and Blouch turbo but no luck.. anyone know where i can purchase this replacement compressor wheel?

thanks!

I dont think you can just replace it, the whole CHRA is balanced together. You swap out the compressor wheel, itll be off balance. I'm willing to bet that you'd have to buy a whole new CHRA, thats gonna run you about $600-650.

Email ATP turbo if you can get ahold of them via phone, thats where I got my shit from 3 yrs ago...just give em a couple of days to reply.

thanks for your info fliprayzin,
so far i got a quote on the center section for $800.. which is pretty close to the price of this turbo.

I got my turbo sealed in box from a guy w/ the R&D department of mitsubishi. The compressor was already oriented to the SR set up.. so i just assumed the compressor were lock tie down to the garrett's spec and didn't bother checking. BIG MISTAKE... after couple hundreds miles.. the bolts came loose and damaged the blades..
it sucks to trash this turbo..it hasn't even been boosted
