s13 SOHC to DOHC A/C question

I've just put in a S13 DOHC into my 89 coupe chassis. I'm trying to hook up the A/C and i've got everything from the 91+ chassis (compressor, condenser, hardlines, etc) the wiring is where I ran into the problem.

The plug that hooks up to the compressor is different between the SOHC/DOHC chassis.

Here's the question...will the A/C setup function properly if I cut the plug off of a 91+ chassis and solder it onto the 89 A/C wiring?

Thanks in advance,

Pablo

The fittings on the lines, from the compressor to firewall are diff. You have, to tig the de line with the sohc fitting.

I think hes talking about the wires. They have diff plugs. sohc is like a square and the dohc one is oval. If the dohc one is one wire just change them out.
