At Adams Motorsports Park 300 bux to win the event........ 500 bux to win the Championship!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 Sets of Maxxis Tires to the Highest finishing Rookie Log In | Facebook Event Dates • Event #1 - July 7 • Event #2 - August 11 • Event #3 - September 8 • Championship – October 6 Event Awards – per event • 1st Place - $300, plus Product Sponsor Awards • 2nd Place – Product Sponsor Awards • 3rd Place – Product Sponsor Awards Championship Awards – for overall points • Series Champion - $500, plus Product Sponsor Awards • 2nd Place – Product Sponsor Awards • 3rd Place – Product Sponsor Awards Details • Tandem competition series • Four event point series • Entry fee for series drivers is $75 per event • Entry fee for non-series drivers is $20 per session, sessions one and two only. • Open qualifying will take place during the first two sessions • All cars competing in the series will be numbered prior to the first qualifying session • Judges will select and rank the top 8 drivers after both rounds of qualifying • Formula D style points structure: o 1st – 100 pts o 2nd – 88 pts o 3rd – 78 pts o 4th – 69 pts o 5th through 8th – 61 pts o Non-qualifiers – 24 pts • All drivers are allowed one drop for the series – low score or missed event • In the event of a tie the highest average qualifier will win • Pairings by round: Round 1 o 1 vs. 8 o 2 vs. 7 o 3 vs. 6 o 4 vs. 5 Round 2 – Reseed Drivers for Final Four o 1 vs. 4 o 2 vs. 3 Consolation – Determines 3rd Place o 3 vs. 4 Final o 1 vs. 2 Event Schedule • 5:00pm - gates open • 6:00pm to 7:00pm – Practice session #1, plus non-series drivers • 7:00pm to 8:00pm – Qualifying session #1, plus non-series drivers • 8:00pm to 8:30pm – Qualifying session #2 (Series Drivers Only) • 8:30pm – Series Drivers Meeting • 8:35pm to 8:40pm – Parade laps and driver introductions • 8:45pm – First elimination round starts Competition Rules Qualifying Rules: • Open qualifying during sessions one and two • Solo qualifying runs • Top 8 will be selected by the judges based on best run and consistency of runs • Passenger ride alongs are during qualifying, but not competition • Winner of the previous event will receive the 8th qualifying spot if necessary Tandem Competition Rules: • Start line will be exiting the Sandbox area for all drivers • Drivers must report to the grid area two runs prior to their run • Two minute rule on start line to fix any technical or mechanical issues • If a driver cannot make a run, the second driver advances by completing a solo run • All tandem runs will be made on the standard AMP drifting course layout, including the sweeper and the bus stop. Drivers will be disqualified if they enter another portion of the track • One More Time: o If drivers are tied after the first pair of runs, the judges will award a one more initiate a “One More Time” o Each driver will lead one run on the standard course o If a second “One More Time” is required the Race Director and judges have the option of using the Little Monza. Each driver will be allowed a solo practice lap prior to the tandem runs o Any further attempts will alternate between the standard and Little Monza layouts at the discretion of the Race Director and Judges • Reseeding of drivers will take place after each round with the highest qualified advancing driver facing the lowest qualified advancing driver • Formula D style judging guidelines will be used throughout the series • No Formula D or D1 drivers will be allowed to compete
