s14 sr20det backfires

So after changing my clutch I noticed my s14 with s14 sr20det backfires alot more in between shifts. The service engine soon light comes on now too.

My thought is that while the clutch was bad and it was revved alot without using it power due to the slipping clutch it made the fuel rich and burnt out the 02 sensor in the downpipe. could this be the problem?

Also, my data port doesnt work so scanning it wouldnt help.

if so, what car's o2 sensor can I use to replace it with the s14 sr20det so that it would have the same plug?
