Question More camber?

Does anyone know some good ways of getting more camber on the front wheels? I have megan racing coilovers and my camber is maxed out, it's not even that noticeable, I need more camber so I can fit my wheels in my fenders, I bought some 25mm wide fenders but they still don't fit, all I can think of right now is more camber, or getting diffrent tires, although I want more camber instead cause I don't want them to be too stretched. And don't want to raise my car either just so that they won't rub...

And for some reason one side has more camber than the other(one doesn't rub as much), both front camber plates are maxed out, don't know wtf..

Front wheels are 18X9.5 -1.

BTW, I'll take some pics asap and post them up.

Coilovers Passenger's side

Coilovers Driver's side

Tires Passenger's side (lot more space between tire and fender)

Drivers side almost no space wtf, my car is a clean title so I don't think the chassis has anything to do with it.

i would just notch the holes in the coilovers, where they bolt to the spindle, you notch, the two holes so you can slide them out for more camber. they other option is you could take one of the allen bolts out and maybe slide it over just a little more, not much since your shock tower is in the way, but it might be just enough to make that little bit of clearance you need

or get S14 LCA's = done.
yeah i would just notch the opening in your strut towers so you can slide the allen bolts all the way in. removing bolts is an option but, you know... that's "dangerous".
or
i might have some 14 LCA's for sale soon if you remind me in a couple weeks i'll sell them to ya.
(its awesome because i have run 18x9 -9 on 225/40/18 with 25mm fenders, no problemmo!)

Will s14 LCAs really move the tire further from the fender? I thought they moved the spindle out further.

it widens the track, it does add a little bit of camber though

You sure the lower brackets on those coilovers don't have slotted holes?

I know that my Stance GR+ sure does, and I didn't know because the top holes on the lower bracket didn't look like they were, but indeed they were, as it made a huge difference.

And just for reference my front wheel size is 17x9.5 +3, but I had to put an 8mm spacer on there to clear the Z32 30mm front calipers, so I'm effectively at 9.5 -5.

You could get some flares and cut out the fender so they actually fit some more wheel room. Just my worthless 2 cents

Or roll your fenders.

I don't like fender flares. Fenders can't be rolled, they're fiber glass. Thanks for the ideas anyway though.

soSideways, do you have any pics of what exactly you're talking bout, I haven't seen anything like that in my coilovers.

I don't.

But you know how on the lower brackets on the front coilovers, there are 2 holes on each of the flat brackets?

The top holes on some coilovers are actually slightly oval, aka slotted.

What that does is, when you loosen the 2 nuts/bolts on the front coilovers (you don't have to take them off, just loosen them so you can move stuff around), you can actually try to push the top of the knuckle inward, which will give you a little more negative camber.

If you're running wheels that have wheel/tire to coilover clearance issues, this step might not work for you, but if you have the room, give it a shot and see if you can get more camber out of your setup.

I didn't know my Stance GR+ was setup like that, and I've always wondered why I had more camber on one side than the other, and it was because of the ovaled/slotted top holes on the lower brackets of my front coilovers.

I ended up pushing both of my front knuckles inwards and I got about another degree of neg. camber out of my setup.

This is what it looks like now, with the knuckle adjustment + maxed camber plate on Stance GR+:

Again, that's 17x9.5 -5 for reference. Fenders are B-Magic 30mm overs, which are more like 20mm overs... since the fenders are almost 15mm thick lol

lol get like me eh. haha.

yea might be a lca reason why one side is farther than the other. And you can always dremel down inside of the fender so you dont have to camber so much in without rubbing

^ What?

But yeah, I'm gonna sand down the inside of my fenders, at least right around the wheel arch, so that not only do I gain more clearance, but it would also be easier for the tire to slot the fenders if and when they do get to that point.

Alright cool, I'll try some of these things when I have time.

AznDrftr, I've seen your car here on zilvia, you have some crazy camber lol, do you know how many degrees it is on the front? What's your set up like?

Yup need to sand my fenders from the inside too.

I have the same issue, drives me crazy. i want them like you have it on drivers side. so anyway i took some camber away, added positive camber to my pass side and made both wheels look flush. My coils don't have the oval bolt holes.
