Question 240sx Worth it?

Hi! I am looking at a 1989 180sx (imported) hatchback with a RB25DE Swap. Car is mostly stock, with very clean clear coat still. Engine has less than 3k miles, not sure about the car itself. Interior is fairly clean but has some cracks on the dashboard. In fantastic shape, no rust. Is this car worth 10k? Thanks!

That's possible, but you gotta consider sweat equity, and you can't price something based on what it cost the previous owner... otherwise any used car at a dealer should be half off the sticker at least.

I think if it's pretty much flawless and mechanically sound, 6 or 7 is a better price. Gotta figure 2k minimum to import.

Unless you have the money to throw at this without regretting it, it's not worth it.

If you're like me you couldn't care less about the aesthetics of things, and would just RHD/RB swap a USDM chassis.

You have to remember, some of these cars are meant to just get shit on by us little guys, and scooped up by enthusiasts who have money tree's.

Swapped cars are always a bad idea. Lots of unknowns. You can get a type x for half that.
